The Monster Energy NASCAR All-Star Race will get underway Saturday night in North Carolina. This race features the drivers that won races in either 2016 or the beginning of this season. Joey Logano is the defending champion coming into this one, but is Jimmie Johnson that will be the most confident driver on this track. Johnson has won this race more than any driver in NASCAR history, as he has won four times now (2003, 2006, 2012, 2013). With Johnson having been so successful here, it’s not surprising that Hendrick Motorsports has been the best team at the All-Star Race. Henrick Motorsports has won this thing eight times, and the next best total for a team is four (Richard Childress Racing & Roush Fenway Racing). The most successful manufacturer, meanwhile, is Chevrolet. Chevrolet has been the make of 17 winners here, and Ford is the next best with 11. With that out of the way, let’s now take a look at some of the best picks to win on Saturday:

Jimmie Johnson (15-to-2) - There are four drivers listed above Johnson as favorites in this race, and that is really quite ridiculous. As previously mentioned, Johnson’s track record in the All-Star Race is insane. While he has not won since 2013, coming away with four victories is impressive no matter what. He clearly knows how to drive on this track, and he will definitely be confident when he’s out there. Johnson knows he has an edge at Charlotte Motor Speedway, and his odds are pretty favorable at 15-to-2.

Joey Logano (15-to-2) - As mentioned earlier, Joey Logano won the All-Star Race just one year ago. The race spanned 113 laps, and Logano finished in 1:43:40. He’ll now look to win for the second straight year, and he’s definitely going to have a great shot to do so on Saturday. Logano earned his first win of the year three races ago at the Toyota Owners 400, but he responded with two straight finishes outside the top-30. Look for Logano to be eager to get back into victory lane with a good outing in this race, and don’t be afraid to back him at 15-to-2.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. (18-to-1) - Dale Earnhardt Jr. last won the All-Star Race back in 2000, but he will have extra incentive to win this thing on Saturday. Earnhardt Jr. is retiring after the season, so that means that this is almost definitely his last All-Star Race ever. He’ll want to go out with a bang, and there really isn’t much that can be more dramatic than Junior winning under the bright lights in Charlotte Motor Speedway. His odds happen to be extremely favorable as well, as he would pay off at 18-to-1 if he wins.

Kasey Kahne (30-to-1) - There really aren’t many actual dark horses to win this race, as all of the drivers in the field are extremely talented. Kahne, however, stands out as a guy that could easily win and he is getting 30-to-1 odds on Saturday. Kahne won this race back in 2008, and he happens to be driving well coming into this one. He finished in 15th at last week’s race, and finished in fifth the week before that. Don’t be afraid to give him a shot here, as he represents the most likely chance to result in a huge payday.
