After a fun tournament in New Orleans, the PGA golfers head to Charlotte for the Wells Fargo Championship on Thursday. Jonas Blixt is the guy that came away with the win at last week’s Zurich Classic of New Orleans, shooting a 27-under to earn the victory. He will not be playing in this week’s tournament, but that shouldn’t bother too many people. Dustin Johnson is going to be teeing off on Thursday, and that is big for a guy that has been battling back issues that he suffered just before The Masters. Joining Johnson in this field are guys like Jon Rahm, Adam Scott, Paul Casey, and Phil Mickelson. James Hahn will also be playing this weekend. That name might not carry too much significance, but he is the defending champion coming into this tournament. Hahn shot a nine-under to defeat Roberto Castro in a playoff last year. Rory McIlory, meanwhile, is the guy that won in 2015. It was his second Wells Fargo Championship victory and it’s a shame he won’t be out there this year. With that out of the way, let’s now take a look at some of the best value plays for this tournament:

Jon Rahm (10-to-1) - Rahm has taken a few weeks off after finishing tied for 27th at The Masters in early April. Now he’ll try to regain his form in Charlotte, and he should be able to do just that. Rahm is the second most likely to win this tournament according to odds makers, but you’d have to think he has a better shot than a rusty Dustin Johnson. Rahm has the big swing and ability to putt under pressure that is required in a winner at Quail Hollow Club. Expect a big performance from the 22-year-old here.

Paul Casey (20-to-1) - It has been an up-and-down year for Paul Casey, but the 39-year-old is playing well entering this event. Casey finished tied for ninth at the WGC Match Play event in late March, and then he finished in sixth at The Masters in early April. That type of play in a major will give a golfer a ton of confidence, so expect Casey to be feeling good when he takes the course on Thursday. His odds are certainly favorable at 20-to-1.

Patrick Reed (40-to-1) - This season has been quite rough on Patrick Reed, who has missed cuts in three of the past four tournaments. Reed has not finished inside the top 10 since Jan. 5, but that is going to change very soon. He is still one of the most talented golfers in the world, and there is plenty of time for him to turn the season around. It’s also worth noting that Reed is coming off of his best ever finish at the Wells Fargo Championship. That makes him a good value this weekend, as he is only getting better in Charlotte.

David Lingmerth (125-to-1) - Lingmerth is yet another talented golfer that is receiving some favorable odds at the Wells Fargo Championship. At 125-to-1, a small play on him would end up paying off huge if he won. That is not out of the question either. This is a very winnable tournament for him, and he’ll just need to simplify his game a bit heading into the weekend. It helps that he is coming off of a tied for 14th finish at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
