After an exciting finish to The Masters last week, the golfers head to South Carolina for the RBC Heritage tournament on Thursday. This field will unfortunately be missing guys like Jordan Spieth, Jason Day, Sergio Garcia, Rory McIlroy and Dustin Johnson. It will, however, have some very talented golfers still competing, as Matt Kuchar, Brandt Snedeker, Russell Henley, Bill Haas, Branden Grace, and Kevin Kisner will all be teeing it off. Grace is the guy that won this thing last year, shooting a nine-under to defeat both Luke Donald and Russell Knox by two strokes apiece. Brian Gay will also be playing in this tournament this weekend, and he is actually the golfer with the best score ever recorded in this tournament. Gay shot a 20-under to win back in 2009, and he’ll be hoping to regain that touch this weekend:

Matt Kuchar (14-to-1) - Kuchar is the favorite to win the RBC Heritage this weekend, but his odds are still favorable enough to suggest taking him. Kuchar won this event back in 2014, shooting an 11-under to defeat Luke Donald by one stroke. Kuchar also happens to be playing well coming into this tournament. He finished at five-under at The Masters last week, finishing tied for fourth in the tournament. He played extremely well on Sunday, so that momentum should carry over into this one.

Tyrrell Hatton (25-to-1) - Hatton was everybody’s sleeper pick to win The Masters, but he really turned in an awful showing. Hatton was cut after shooting an 80 in Round 1 and a 78 in Round 2. This should be a much easier place for him to do well, as there won’t be much pressure on him this weekend. Playing more freely than he did last week, expect Hatton to make a run at a victory on Sunday. He has finished inside the top-five twice this season and it’s only a matter of time before he wins.

Martin Kaymer (28-to-1) - Kaymer is yet another golfer that picked up some serious momentum in the last round of The Masters last week. Kaymer shot a 68 in both the second and fourth rounds of that tournament, and he also had a streak of five straight birdies on Sunday. Kaymer was once the No. 1 golfer in the world, so he is clearly a very talented player. He just needs to find a way to put it all together for a weekend, and he has made some strides recently.

Martin Laird (80-to-1) - Laird is a very talented golfer and represents a very interesting dark horse value on Sunday. At 80-to-1, Laird would pay off huge if he were to win this tournament. He also happens to be having a solid season, as he has finished inside the top 10 at four tournaments this year. There’s a very good chance he puts himself in contention to win this thing on Sunday, and is worth a backing at a small price.
