The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will be heading to Arizona for the Camping World 500 on Sunday. Last week, the drivers were in Las Vegas for the Kobalt 400. Martin Truex Jr. was the guy that came away with the win in that race, and Kyle Larson came in second. Now comes Avondale’s turn to host and Kevin Harvick will be looking to get out there for this one. Harvick has won this race four times in his career, and that includes victories in each of the past three races here. Jeff Gordon was the guy with the second-most wins in the Camping World 500, as he won twice in his career. Gordon will not be out there for this one, and that makes Harvick the only driver that has won more than once here that will be in the field. Both Hendrick Motorsports and Stewart-Haas Racing have won four times in this event, but Stewart-Haas Racing has Harvick to thank for that. The car with the most success is Chevrolet, which has been the manufacturer for the winner nine times. With that out of the way, let’s now take a look at who might be winning this race on Sunday.

Kevin Harvick - As previously mentioned, Harvick has dominated at the Camping World 500 in his career. He has won four times in Avondale, and no other driver on Sunday has won more than once. That is a pretty significant difference, so Harvick will be feeling super confident when he gets out there on Sunday. It also helps that Harvick finished in only 38th at the Kobalt 400 last week. He will be hungry for a solid placing, and that means he’ll be aggressive on the track. His odds might not be favorable, but he’s still worth taking a shot on.

Jimmie Johnson - Jimmie Johnson might not have four wins in the Camping World 500, but he did win back in 2008. He also happens to have been solid here the past two years, as he has finished in 11th at each of the past two races in Avondale. Look for him to come out and really make a run at this one, as he has not yet won this season and definitely wants to defend his championship from last season. It’s going to be hard to do that without a victory in the near future.

Denny Hamlin - Denny Hamlin won the Camping World 500 back in 2012, and he definitely has what it takes to win this race once again. Dethroning Harvick will not be easy, but Hamlin has also shown he is a consistent performer here in the past. Hamlin came in third at last year’s race in Avondale, and he also came in third here three other times in this race. A few different things happen in those races and Hamlin is in victory lane, so don’t be afraid to take a guy that clearly can win here on Sunday.

Ryan Newman - When looking for somebody with some seriously favorable odds on Sunday, Newman is a guy that stands out. A Newman victory would mean a huge payday on Sunday and crazier things have definitely happened. He won this race back in 2010 and also finished inside the top-five as recently as 2015, when he came in third. He is a good driver that represents a tremendous value and is worth a quarter-unit this weekend.
