CINCINNATI BENGALS (10-3)
at SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (4-9)

Kickoff: Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET
Line: Cincinnati -6.0, Total: 40.5

Two $100 million quarterbacks will be on the sidelines watching their back-ups square off in Week 15 when the Bengals head west to take on the 49ers.

Cincinnati (10-3 SU, 10-2-1 ATS) suffered their 3rd loss in five games following an 8-0 start in a 33-20 affair against Pittsburgh, but they might have lost much more as starting QB Andy Dalton suffered a thumb injury in the 1st quarter and could miss the rest of the regular season. The Bengals were held to a season-low 64 rushing yards while committing a season-high three turnovers; the defense also allowed more than 30 points for the 2nd time in four games after not allowing more than 25 points in any of their first nine games. The 49ers (4-9 SU, 6-7 ATS) went just 2-of-13 on 3rd down attempts, possessed the ball for just 22:21 (37.25%) of the game, and allowed more than 200 rushing & passing yards each in a 24-10 loss at Cleveland. Trends for the game almost unanimously favor Cincinnati. Cincinnati is 6-0 ATS on the road this season, and 28-16 ATS in all games since the start of the 2013 season. Marvin Lewis is 28-17 ATS against the NFC as Cincinnati head coach. The Bengals are 6-1 ATS this season when averaging eight or more net yards per pass attempt, while the 49ers are 1-6 ATS when allowing eight or more net yards per pass attempt. The Bengals are 6-1 when gaining 6+ total YPP, while the 49ers are 1-5 when allowing 6+ total YPP. Blaine Gabbert does provide an advantage at QB for the 49ers, posting a 3-2 record ATS since taking over for Colin Kaepernick in Week 9, while AJ McCarron will be making his first career start in place of the injured Dalton. For the Bengals, T Jake Fisher (concussion), CB Adam Jones (ankle), and TE Tyler Eifert (concussion) are all questionable. For the 49ers, LBs Aaron Lynch (concussion), Michael Wilhoite (ankle), and TE Vance McDonald (concussion) are all questionable, while G Ale Boone was lost for the season this week to a knee injury.

The Bengals have been consistent on both sides of the ball this season, ranking in the Top 10 in total YPG on offense AND total YPG allowed on defense; they also rank in the Top 5 in both PPG and PPG allowed. One key for the Bengals could be their ability to establish the run early and often; their two losses ATS this season came in their two lowest rushing performances.

Much like Cincinnati, San Francisco has also been consistent on offense and defense, just in much worse fashion. The 49ers enter Week 15 ranked last in the league in YPG, and 30th in YPG allowed, having held opponents below 350 total yards just three times all season. San Francisco has also outgained the opposition just three times in a game this season.
