A StatFox staff member highlighted the recent action in this WAC series, which had been tremendously high scoring (86.7 ppg the L3 years). The FoxSheet simulator also projected both teams to get around 500 yards of offense. He figured a shootout was in store. Result: Tech 38, Nevada 21 OVER.

A Statfox staff member began by suggesting the upset win of Michigan the prior week had saved the season for Notre Dame. He also highlighted some key stats that would figure in to how the game would be played, namely rushing numbers. The Spartans were projected to rush for just 62 yards and they had a history of struggling when they rush for less than 100 in a game. Take the Irish was the advice. Result: Notre Dame 31, Michigan State 24. ND WIN & COVER.
