If watching Game Six between Boston and Cleveland brought back flashbacks to 1994, when the Houston Rockets and the New York Knicks played in the NBA Finals, with some of the most boring basketball known to man, you are not alone. Within the context of those flashbacks, comes to mind a certain Ford Bronco, but that’s another story for another day. How this series goes to a Game Seven is flabbergasting, considering Cleveland made less than one in three shots (32.9 percent). For Cavaliers backers, the sound of loud clanging resulted in sweet music, giving the 2.5-points.

Home Favorite Penguins must avoid rough stuff
NHL - If the Pittsburgh Penguins don't realize the enviable position they're in, the large NHL standings board in the middle of their dressing room should tell them. Only two Eastern Conference teams are listed, with the conference finals results in bright red numbers: Penguins 3, Flyers 1. For the Penguins, its one victory to go to play for the Stanley Cup, a large picture of which also is displayed in their locker room. The black and white photo highlights the names of the 1991-92 Penguins, the last team in franchise history to play for, and win, the Cup.

Edwards picked to win All-Star Race
NASCAR - With the help of a back-flipping dog, Humpy Wheeler made Carl Edwards the favorite to win the All-Star race by naming the acrobatic driver his pick to win Saturday night's event. Wheeler, president of Lowe's Motor Speedway and the P.T. Barnum of NASCAR, staged a humorous Dog Show on Wednesday in downtown Charlotte to reveal his annual All-Star selection. He was an expert prognosticator when he first started making the picks, as Wheeler was correct on six of seven winners from 1989-95. But he's been right only twice since, correctly selecting Dale Earnhardt Jr. in 2000 and Johnson in 2003.
